Cross tabs and dates

Is there a way to do cross tabulations between dates and other variables?

Yes, it's possible.

In graphic table, click on the menu "Analyses" and "Cross table".
And then, select variables.

On this display, you can cross dates with other types of variables.

However, when I do this, Sphinx automatically groups my dates into months. Not that I mind, but there are times when cross tabs with exact dates may be required.

On your graphic table,
- right clic on your cross table, and click on "Modify format" menu,
- Your are in cross table properties,
- Click on the tab "Calculate",
- Choose "Date Variables" in the roll menu,
- A new roll menu appear, use it to change the presentation of your date variables.
